Music Theory with Gwenno Glyn
When learning to play an instrument it is essential to understand the building blocks and dynamics of the language of music. The benefits of learning music theory alongside instrument tuition accelerates the students potential. Our award winning Blue Ribbon harpist & pianist Gwenno offers small class groups from grades 1-8 and available to all ages of students.

Every Saturday 1.00pm
This weekly orchestra, conducted by award winning guitarist Evangelos Nikolaidis MA, will allow students to develop the key skills needed to be an outstanding musician, and it will be great fun too.

School Director Brian Firkins
Brian Firkins is a guitarist and dedicated music educator. Establishing Cardiff Music School in 1998, he holds both Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Brian has over twenty years’ experience teaching children and adults in a variety of settings including: privately, schools, colleges, correctional and rehabilitation institutions, outreach projects, festivals and workshops.

Whether you're a teacher wanting to hire space for tuition or a musician wanting rehearsal space, our ten rehearsal studios will accommodate all your needs. Each room is furnished with a piano, our rates for rehearsal and equipment hire is:

REHEARSAL RATES:
OFF PEAK RATE
Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm = £10 per hour
(includes free gear hire if required)
PEAK RATE
Monday to Friday 6pm - midnight = £12 per hour
WEEKEND RATE
Saturday and Sunday - 10am - midnight = £12 per hour
(include free basic drum kit if required)
SINGLE PERSON DISCOUNT RATE:
Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm and all day Saturday = £6 per hour
LOCK RATES:
Standard size rooms (Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple) - £120 per day
Large Room (Brown) - £140 per day

Cancellation Policy...
We require at least 48 hours notice from the start time of your session if you wish to cancel it otherwise the cost of the time you have booked is owed. Obviously if your session takes place within 48 hours of you booking it then there is no charge.
If you rearrange your session to take place within 48 hours of the original booking then there will be no charge. This can only be done once per booking.
For cancellations of lock out rehearsals we require 4 days notice to avoid being charged.
